For the big parade on Tuesday, March 4, the 2025 edition of the Mindelo Carnival continues the momentum of the two previous editions: the five official groups (the edition finally sees the return of the Vindos do Oriente) will parade at night from 7 p.m., all of them will parade in the same light conditions.
The order of appearance of the groups was assigned by drawing lots:
1. Vindos do Oriente
2. Flores do Mindelo
3. Estrela do Mar
4. Cruzeiros do Norte
5. Monte Sossego
The parade of the Samba Tropical group will take place on Monday evening from 8:30 p.m. with, as a new feature this year, a parade of teachers at 7:00 p.m., who usually passed through Mindelo on Saturday afternoon.
